Alfresco to add WCM to ECM

In case you hadn't noticed, open-source content management vendor Alfresco has been preparing to expand its platform to cover Web content management. After a noisy launch where the company politely dismissed open-source Web CMS efforts in favor of its more document-centric approach, Alfresco leadership seems to have had a change of heart, or maybe their funders have? In any case, Alfresco has recruited former Interwoven wünderkind Kevin Cochrane to lead the WCM effort.
