The Web CMS Report 2009 looks at... Day Communique

"Programmers or system administrators new to JCR will find Day's node-and-property system a bit bewildering at first. The key is to master JSR 170 first; Day's implementation second. "

Eclipse Plug-in for JSR-170

15-Aug-2005

There is a great deal of momentum around the open-source Eclipse IDE, but as previously mentioned, very few CMS vendors have noticed. Documentum has recently issued a plug-in and now Swiss CMS vendor Day, who is championing the JSR-170 repository spec, has released an Eclipse plug-in for the new standard. I should also mention that the Microsoft IDE world is dominated by Visual Studio and already quite a few Microsoft-based CMS vendors (e.g. FileNet) support Visual Studio.
