Report Excerpt

The Web CMS Report 2009 looks at... TerminalFour Site Manager

"The user interface looks nice and simple but tends to favor aesthetics over clarity. TerminalFour prides itself on its acute awareness of accessibility issues (and offers a fix that allows the interface to be used with screen readers), and the wide variety of browsers and platforms its supports. It was one of the first vendors in this report to support IE7 on Vista. But small type and the absence of color-based signaling might hinder quickly glancing and clicking through tasks. The environment can be a bit idiosyncratic at times; for example, dropdown menus are not always consistent with the expected user experience - sometimes you don't click, but just bover over the link. "

Our customers say

"Microsoft tells you it's wonderful, competitors tell you it's awful, and there's not a lot in between. CMS Watch's latest report, the 190-page SharePoint Report, does an excellent job of covering the "in-between". The authors have done an outstanding job in documenting what SharePoint is (the six elements of the MOSS pie), in thinking about how and where it can be used effectively, and in giving prescriptive guidance to organizations that are considering SharePoint -- both to embrace the good, and to avoid the bad.
