Plumtree releases G6

Just before being subsumed by BEA, Plumtree has released the latest version of their product. The new version, "G6," aims at easing application development and also introduces a simplified UI and even an AJAX API. G6 was launched at last week's user and developer conference, where Plumtree also unveiled their first vertical application focused on retail. This is more evidence that BEA bought more than just a customer base here. According to the press release BEA intends to support all current and planned products. Time will tell.
