DAM suppliers make big promises for H2 2009

Today we release a major update to our Digital & Media Asset Management research, in tandem with the Henry Stewart DAM Symposium in New York City. After a period of stagnation, vendors are gearing up to make major releases in the coming months. Canto, in fact, just released version 8 last week, with an all-new user interface. There's a lot of activity going on at Autonomy, where Interwoven's MediaBin, Virage and IDOL and converging, and Open Text, where a raft of DAM-focused acquisitions is pushing the entity formerly known as Artesia to take a new approach to DAM.
