Today we released the 2009 edition of our Enterprise Social Software & Collaboration Report. As you might expect, that marketplace continues to evolve rapidly, and some of the best technology still lies among the smaller vendors.

In our release announcement, though, we focus on how LinkedIn is maturing faster than Facebook for enterprise use-cases. That doesn't mean that you should, say, drop your Intranet and switch everyone to LinkedIn -- but rather, that among the public networks, it looks like LinkedIn could become the more enterprise-friendly, and sooner.
