- Care about the architect's view and the end-user experience alike
- Can complete projects on your own with minimal daily oversight (but much collegial support)
- Want to work for a small, fiercely independent analyst company
Above all, your loyalties lie instinctively with software consumers rather than producers.
THE SKILLS
A minimum of five years industry experience.
Native written and spoken English proficiency.
Excellent analytical, editing, and writing capabilities are essential.
Strong public speaking / training background required.
End-user consulting experience a big plus.
Prior experience with an analyst firm helpful; Practice lead at integrator or consultancy also suitable.
